Dental Hygienists and Therapists

We currently have opportunities for qualified Dental Hygienists or Therapists to join our Group of practices in North Wales.

Our Clinics

Our Colwyn Bay site (private only) is a six-surgery private only practice with plans to expand to seven surgeries. Our Porthmadog practice (mixed) operates four surgeries, and our Llangefni practice (mixed) operates three surgeries with plans to expand to four.

Our vacancies are currently focused on Porthmadog and Llangefni, but we are happy to consider a range of working arrangements.

Modern surgical facilities are complimented by digital Carestream intra-oral services. Our Porthmadog practice also benefits from a digital Sirona OPG and our Colwyn Bay practice operates digital Sirona XG3D OPG and CT scan services.

Dental Hygienists and Therapists are an essential part of our team, delivering core periodontal care to our private and NHS patients. We take a modern, proactive approach to periodontal care, specifically adopting in full all relevant pathways and guidelines published by the British Periodontal Society etc. Therapists can, in addition, enjoy significant restorative and paediatric work on both an NHS and private basis.

The Group

Independently owned and operated by Dr Trevor Ferguson (Immediate Past Dean FGDP(UK)) and Aaron Ferguson MBA ACA (MBA Graduate (University of Manchester), Chartered Accountant), the Group takes a modern, patient-focused approach to care that focuses on the quality of provision, not volume.

The experienced, commercial management team is supported by a dedicated clinical leadership team that includes practitioners with Diplomas in Restorative and Implant Dentistry, various MSc qualifications and PhD candidates.  They have extensive, proven experience and track records in mentoring and supporting forward-looking colleagues who wish to develop their careers.

Benefits & Reward

We offer competitive, market leading salaries and a number of benefits. Our Dental Hygienist / Therapist roles are employed, providing the security of a formal role and guaranteed income, as well as other benefits such as paid annual leave and employer pension contributions. Salary rates are supplemented with bonuses for delivering whitening treatments.

A range of core CPD topics are covered with training provided free of charge or expensed. In addition, we have a range of funded training opportunities. As an example, we are one of the first UK practices to pioneer the use of Dental Therapists in the delivery of Inhalation Sedation.

We can support a range of working patterns, including part-time and full-time working.
