To register for Doctor Care Anywhere you need to create an account. You can do this by clicking the button below.
You will need your activation code. If you are an adult patient, this is sent to your registered email address when you become eligible for this benefit. If you have not received your code, please contact us.
Parents of child patients will be contacted by our team with instructions on how to register their children. This can take up to 14 days after your child's membership begins. If you have not been contacted after this time, please contact us.
Doctor Care Anywhere is a private online healthcare service giving you 24/7 access to appointments with clinicians, by video or phone, from wherever you are.
You’ll receive access to GP and Advanced Care Practitioner (ACP) appointments whenever and wherever you need them – with appointments usually available in a few hours.
Consultations are up to 20 minutes long, which means you’ll have plenty of time to discuss your health concern with your clinician. You can also have prescriptions delivered to your door or ready to collect from your local pharmacy, as well as access to your medical notes, open private referrals, and fit notes all from your account.
Doctor Care Anywhere are an independent healthcare provider, and are not part of the West End Dental Group.
Certain members of West End Dental Membership are eligible for access to Doctor Care Anywhere free of charge.
West End Dental and Doctor Care Anywhere do not exchange any personal data. Access is provided via an activation code shared with eligible members.
We are rolling this benefit out gradually to members.
New members who join on or after 15 January 2024 are eligible.
In addition, members who have their plan automatically renewed during 2024 will become eligible on their renewal. This will normally be the anniversary of your joining date with us. Some members may be able to request an early renewal to access this benefit - if you are interested in this option please contact us.
Eligible members are emailed and sent an SMS.
We regret this benefit is not available to customers on schemes administered by Practice Plan and Denplan. These customers can request to change to a West End Dental Membership if they wish.
If your West End Dental Membership ends you will no longer be eligible for the Doctor Care Anywhere service through us. Your subscription with Doctor Care Anywhere will end, and you should approach them directly for alternative payment and subscription options.

Prescriptions provided by Doctor Care Anywhere are private prescriptions, and will therefore incur medication charges when filled at a pharmacy.
All of their doctors are General Practitioners (GPs) who are registered and hold a current licence to practice with the General Medical Council (GMC). They have at least 5 years’ post-graduation experience and all undergo the regulatory monitoring of their medical practice through the annual appraisal system.
Their ACPs are also highly skilled and trained clinicians that have additional post graduate training and Masters qualifications (alongside a nursing degree) that enables them to independently examine, assess, make diagnoses, treat, prescribe, interpret results and make referrals for certain patients who present with symptoms.

You can access clinician appointments 24/7, 365 days a year.
Their GPs are available for appointments 24/7 and appointments. Their ACPs are available Monday – Sunday, including bank holidays between 8am and 10pm. If you try and make an appointment with an ACP outside of these hours, the next available GP appointment will be offered.
Note that the service is not meant for emergencies. If you have an emergency, please call 999 or go to the nearest Accident & Emergency department.
GPs and ACPs are restricted in the help they can provide in relation to dental problems. You should contact West End Dental in the first instance regarding any such problems.
Children must access the Doctor Care Anywhere service via their parent's account.
Once your child has become a member with West End Dental, our team will contact you to confirm when your Doctor Care Anywhere account has been updated. At this point, you can then add your child to your Doctor Care Anywhere account.
This process is manual, and can take up to 10 working days. If you have not received a notification from us after this time, please contact us.
