Teeth whitening treatment uses a special whitening gel, applied directly to your teeth, to improve the shade of your natural teeth.

The gel is placed into a whitening tray, which is a bespoke tray designed to fit over your teeth. Wearing the tray brings your teeth into contact with the whitening gel.
The exact gel used, and the length of time it is used for, depends on the treatment you use.

Whitening treatment involves wearing your trays, with gel inside, for a number of weeks. The length of treatment, when you wear your trays and how often all depends on your precise treatment.

Whitening Club is available for existing West End Dental Members. 
‍
It allows members to spread the cost of our standard whitening treatments, by paying a fixed monthly payment for 12 months. 
‍
Payments cover everything you need to start whitening treatment, plus suitable top-up treatments.

The current fee is £25 per month, for 12 months.

Our treatments are based around three different gels. These are known as 6% HP, 10% CP and 16% CP.

HP stands for Hydrogen Peroxide, which is the chemical used to achieve whitening results. Our 6% HP gel is a strong gel and is worn for only a couple of hours each day.

CP stands for Carbamide Peroxide. CP breaks down into HP, and therefore allows you to wear it longer. CP gels are worn overnight, compared to HP gels which are only worn for a couple of hours each time.

Our 10% and 16% CP gels are simply different strengths of the same gel. We use 16% as standard, but may offer 10% for patients who have some sensitivity.

Members make payments for a fixed 12 months.

After 12 months, you can rejoin Whitening Club at a level to suit your needs, or leave the club.

Top up gels are used to maintain your whitening result, and typically we recommend you use them every 3 to 6 months although this will depend on your exact circumstances.

Top up gels are prescribed at the discretion of our clinical team and the precise requirements will differ from patient to patient.

Whitening Club includes up to six gels in addition to your original whitening kit. However, gels are issued as required - you may receive less than this as appropriate.

Some patients who are very sensitive to whitening treatment benefit from the use of desensitising gel.

This is not included in Whitening Club, but can be purchased from us in addition.

If you lose a whitening tray you will need to purchase a replacement.

This is not included in whitening club. Our team will be able to arrange this for you.

No, by joining Whitening Club you enter a 12 month contract which commences once your whitening trays are ordered.

If you stop making payments, you will be liable for any outstanding amounts due.
